Calgary Reads Big Book Sale
Held annually, proceeds from the Calgary Reads Big Book Sale support literacy projects across the community, including the Little Red Reading House. The Big Book Sale relies on generous donations from community members.
How you can get involved:
Host a book drive
Inspire your friends, family, neighbours and co-workers to donate their gently used books
Donate books
You can donate your gently used books between April 26 – May 5 at the Calgary Curling Club. There will also be ‘stuff a truck days’ at other locations in Calgary’s NW, SE and SW.
Buy books
The book sale takes place May 10-20 at the Calgary Curling Club, where more than 175,000 gently used and wonderfully organized books will be waiting for you.
